My name is Ricky Lewis. I'm a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York.

I moved to NYC in 2004 to study acting at William Esper Studio under the late Bill Esper. I also completed LAByrinth Theater Company’s Master Class program.

I joined Actor’s Equity Association in 2008. Some of my favorite theater credits include Maggie Keenan-Bolger’s From The Inside, Out (FringeNYC) and playing Matt in the first revival of Adam Rapp’s Red Light Winter directed by David Newer.

Expanding my focus to behind the camera, I’ve directed true crime dramatizations that can be seen on MAX, Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Oxygen, and A&E. My first short film, We Used to Love This Place, is in post-production. 

As a singer & songwriter, I’ve released three EPs and one full length record. My songs have been featured by Stereogum, Paste Magazine, Alternative Press, and others.
